1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TaskerMate platform (website or app), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. Please contact us on info@taskermate.com.au if you have any other questions. Thanks for connecting.
2. Definitions
- Agreement: A binding contract between a Client and a Tasker once chosen and accepted by Client.
- Client: A user who posts tasks or seeks services through the Platform.
- Platform: Refers to the TaskerMate website and mobile apps.
- Task: The service or job requested by the Client and accepted by the Tasker.
- Tasker: A professional or qualified individual or business providing services through the Platform.
- User: Anyone using the platform, including both service seekers (Clients) and service providers (Taskers).
3. User Accounts
- Users must register an account and keep their credentials secure.
- Users are responsible for all activity under their account.
- Users (Taskers) must provide evidence of qualifications, licenses, and if requested, relevant insurance.
- TaskerMate may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of terms.
4. Task Management
- Clients may post tasks including descriptions, images, budgets, and timeframes.
- Taskers may accept the task, which Clients will choose at their own discretion.
- Once accepted, a legally binding agreement exists between the two parties.
- Taskers should only accept tasks within their expertise.
- Task completion proof, including images, must be submitted by the Tasker.
5. Payments and Fees
- Clients shall pay for tasks via the integrated Stripe Payment Gateway.
- Taskers receive payments after successful task completion, minus applicable commissions.
- TaskerMate applies tiered commission rates based on tasker earnings (visible before confirmation).
- Funds are held securely until the task is marked as completed by the Client.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- If both parties agree to cancel the Task Contract, or if the Client is unable to contact the Tasker to complete the Task Contract, the Client must notify TaskerMate (info@taskermate.com.au).
- Refunds may be considered based on the task status; User (Client or Tasker) are required to contact TaskerMate (info@taskermate.com.au).
7. Dispute Resolution
- Users must make genuine efforts to resolve any disputes directly between themselves before seeking TaskerMate’s involvement.
- In the event a dispute remains unresolved, TaskerMate’s support team will review the matter at its sole discretion.
- Decisions made by TaskerMate are final, binding, and not subject to appeal.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post any false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or otherwise cause harm to other users.
- Attempt to circumvent the platform or its processes in order to avoid applicable fees.
- Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of TaskerMate or any third party.
9. Verification & Insurance
- TaskerMate may use Identification verification and background check services; however, TaskerMate makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the suitability, reliability, or qualifications of any user.
- Users acknowledge and agree that Identification verification and background check results are based on information provided by users and may not be complete, accurate, or up-to-date.
- Taskers are solely responsible for maintaining any required licenses, skill certifications, skills qualifications, and appropriate insurance coverage necessary to perform their services.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content, including but not limited to logos, designs, text, images, software, and other materials (collectively, the "Content") made available on the platform is the sole and exclusive property of TaskerMate or its licensors.
- Users hereby acknowledge and agree that they shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly display, perform, modify, or otherwise use any part of the Content for any purpose, whether commercial or non-commercial, without the prior express written consent of TaskerMate. Unauthorized use of any Content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
- TaskerMate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating our policies.
